We Accept Workforce1 Individual Training Grant Vouchers
Workforce1 is a service provided by the NYC Department of Small Business Services to prepare and connect qualified candidates 18 and older to job opportunities across New York City.
Workforce1 Individual Training Grants are available for customers seeking to develop occupational skills for various in-demand careers. These vouchers can fund course tuition, registration fees, testing fees, and books, helping you launch a new career or advance in your current one without significant financial burdens.

Our HHA and Nurse Aide programs are approved for Workforce1 Individual Training Grants. These vouchers cover all costs associated with your studies at no cost to you out of pocket. If you're unemployed or earning under $91,000 per year, you may be eligible for a voucher. Visit your nearest Workforce1 Center to apply.
Eligibility Criteria

Visit a Workforce1 Career Center in person.

Be 18 years of age or older.

Have a minimum of a GED or high school diploma

Be unemployed or currently employed with an annual income of less than $91,000.

Be actively looking for training and employment opportunities.

Meet the education and work experience requirements for the selected occupation.

Be willing to report job placement information after completion of training.
How To Apply
The application process is highly selective. Selection for participation is based on your eligibility, assessment of your needs, skill level, work experience, and your prospects for successfully completing the program and achieving employment in the field.
The application process includes the following steps:
1. Schedule and attend an ITG Orientation presentation at your local Workforce1 Career Center.
2. Complete and pass a skills test to determine your readiness for the chosen training.
3. Submit an application form provided at the orientation.
4. Interview with a Career Advisor to determine eligibility and discuss your goals.
5. Obtain a training provider letter stating your commitment to your studies.
